Under the umbrella term of »Operative Ontologies«, scientists at the »International College for Cultural Technology Research and Media Philosophy« at the Bauhaus University Weimar conduct research on humanities issues of our time.
IKKM Weimar: Man, Medium, Interconnection
The goal: to transfer an existing visual image into this thematic construct and to redesign all communication tools - including the website. The focus was on the development of visual leitmotifs to interpret abstract (media)philosophical meta-themes such as »framing/sewing«, »appearing/disappearing«, »reproducing/multiplying« graphically and typographically. The results are a new corporate design, a comprehensive set of communication tools and a website based on a lean and agile CMS.
